Go for the double points in the beginning and as the game gets faster go for the slowtimer.....
I find it helpfull to know where my colors are... for instance...greens to the right etc etc.......just don´t get to locked on it.
I go for the double points until it hits 5000points and then focus on the slow timer and nuke.....
Keeping high paste from the beginning is very important so you don´t get to stressed out when the timer go´s faster than you can blink.
I could say more about how I play but its getting to neerdy :-=

Probably do a guide some day......and call it: Being nr 2.....SUCKS!!

Yes I click in center if theres more than one pie about to get complete....it kinda depends on how many lives I´ve got and of course the tempo state of the game......second qeustion....hmmm.....if you have plenty of lives to spare....go for the powerup...because you don´t loose points for loosing lifes....but you get extra for the powerups......anyway....thats my way :-)
