November 19, 2007 Play Frenzic on Your iPhone or iPod Touch (sort of)
While we all wait patiently for the official iPhone SDK from Apple, we’re pleased to announce that starting today, there is a way for you to get your Frenzic fix on your iPhone or iPod touch.
Thanks to the remarkable efforts of Robert Neagu of Webcode.ro and his mad Javascript programming skills, we are happy to have been proven wrong when we said that a web version of Frenzic just wasn’t a good idea. Robert set out to optimize ARTIS Software’s game code for the Safari browser and the result is an effective demonstration of what Frenzic could be like when the native version becomes a reality. The demo is missing some key elements that makes the desktop version so robust, but it’s still loads of fun to play while you wait in the early morning hours of those Black Friday shopping lines or at the doctor's office.
For those of you who have not given Frenzic for the Mac a try, we invite you to download a free trial of the game that some have called the best strategy game for Mac OS X, period. Enjoy!
